Wetwheels is a 9 metre catamaran made by Cheetah Marine on the Isle of Wight. She made her debut in September 2011 at the PSP Southampton Boat Show when she was named by Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Dame Mary Fagan DCVO.
Wetwheels has twin Suzuki 325HP outboard engines capable of driving her at 40 knots.
She is equipped with the latest, state-of-the-art marine electronics provided by Raymarine. These include radar, chartplotter, VHF, auto-pilot and even joystick steering.
Access is via a side-opening door and ramp onto her large open deck. She is MCA coded (category 3) to take up to 10 passengers up to 20 miles offshore. We have designed 3 wheelchair tie-down positions on the deck for maximum safety.
We are equipped with the latest safety equipment including a 12 person liferaft, lifejackets and flares.
Our skippers are all commercially endorsed and we are fully insured. We also have a detailed safety policy and a full set of risk-assessments available on request.
